Findlay & Josie are getting married in Bath this year and I’m really excited for their big day. For their Bath engagement photography session, we decided to leave the bright lights of the Roman city and head for the rural countryside on the outskirts of Bath. Capturing beautiful portraits of this romantic couple along the way.
I first met Findlay 5 years ago when we worked together on a wedding photography shoot in my early days as a professional photographer. We’ve stayed good friends ever since and he recently got in touch to say he was engaged to the lovely Josie. I was over the moon with their news and even more so, when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. It’s always such an honour for me to be asked to do this for a couple on their wedding day.
For their Bath engagement photography session, we decided to leave the bright lights of the Roman city and head for the rural countryside on the outskirts of Bath. Findlay & Josie love to spend weekends going for long walks in the Bath countryside with their husky dog Thor. When they asked me if Thor could join the engagement shoot, I of course said yes. Little did I know how amazing he would be for the engagement photographs and what a good boy he was.
Even though the weather started off cold and windy, it didn’t dampen our spirits as I knew this lovely couple would be lots of fun. As we ventured through the fields of Bath, we’d stop now and again to capture some beautiful portraits of this romantic couple with lots of smiling and cuddles.
An engagement shoot is a great way for us all to get to know each other, ahead of the wedding day. It’s important we build a connection and that you as the couple feel completely at ease and relaxed in front of the camera. This is why I always include an engagement photography shoot within my wedding photography pricing options. You can also check out more of my engagement photography portfolio here. For more information, please get in touch. I’d be delighted to hear from you.
