Arthur & Georgie are getting married at Arnos Vale in Bristol this year and I’m excited for their wedding day to arrive. We captured their Bristol engagement photography session at the beautiful Dyrham Park, a 17th century house and garden in South Gloucestershire. With over 270 acres of parkland on the estate, we had lots of opportunities to capture some beautiful and romantic couple portraits as we wandered around the grounds.
It was a cold and frosty morning when I met Arthur & Georgie in the tea garden at Dyrham Park ahead of their Bristol engagement photography shoot. It was so lovely to spend time with them, chat about how they met and discuss their wedding day plans. An early start also meant we had the place to ourselves and the beautiful morning sunshine made it ideal for taking portraits.
With over 270 acres of parkland on the estate, we had lots of opportunities to capture some beautiful and romantic couple portraits as we wandered around the grounds. There are amazing views across Bristol, as well as landscaped gardens and beautiful wild areas with long grasses and trees. We walked, talked and took photos as we strolled through the park, ending up by one of the viewpoints with a spectacular old tree, overlooking the beautiful English countryside below. It was a lovely couple of hours with Arthur & Georgie.
An engagement shoot is a great way for us all to get to know each other, ahead of the wedding day. It’s important we build a connection and that you as the couple feel completely at ease and relaxed in front of the camera. This is why I always include an engagement photography shoot within my wedding photography pricing options. You can also check out more of my engagement photography portfolio here. For more information, please get in touch. I’d be delighted to hear from you.
