Arthur & Georgie were married at Arnos Vale Weddings on a beautiful sunny day in May. It was such a lovely spring wedding to capture, with so much fun, laughter and happiness throughout the day. Everyone made me feel so welcome, it was an absolute pleasure to be there as their Bristol wedding photographer.
I was recommended by Olivia at Host Event Management who helped the couple plan their wedding along with the amazing team at Arnos Vale Weddings. I was delighted when they booked me as their Bristol wedding photographer to capture their wedding day.
Georgie and her bridal party got ready at the Paintworks in Bristol, a former paint and varnish factory that is now a vibrant community for creative individuals, as well as providing fantastic accommodation for weddings and parties. Georgie wore a beautiful vintage style wedding dress with the most fantastic wedding shoes influenced by her favourite film, Star Wars. You could say, they were out of this world! Her best friend Emma was her bridesmaid and wore a navy dress from Quest. Both carried beautiful bouquets by The Rose Shed. Arthur and his brother wore classic black tuxedos before walking over the road to Arnos Vale Weddings for the ceremony.
Arthur & Georgie were married at the Underwood Centre on a beautiful sunny day in May. Set in 45 acres of stunning woodland, this is the perfect place for an outdoor wedding ceremony, amongst nature. The wedding ceremony itself was very emotional but also full of laughter. After the ceremony had finished, we wandered through the woods to capture some romantic couple portraits before meeting up with all their friends and family for the wedding reception.
The wedding reception was held at the Spielman Centre which is a fusion of elegant Victorian architecture mixed with modern glass design. After some heart-felt stories from Georgie’s Dad during the speeches, the wedding reception got into full swing. The couple ditched their traditional first dance and preferred to play games with their friends instead – including a hilarious version of Mr & Mrs with the newlyweds. After the games had finished the party really started. Georgie led the dancing wearing her crown, giving me the opportunity to get some cracking candid shots of the guests having a wonderful time. The party atmosphere was electric and continued long into the night. Congratulations to Arthur & Georgie, I wish you a wonderful life together.
If you’d like me to be your Bristol wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you.
