Set in the heart of the Italian mountains, the stunning Castello Ceconi in Pielungo was the perfect setting for a beautifully styled wedding photography shoot in Italy this summer. With a magnificent Italian castle wedding venue, a beautiful couple in love and plenty of Italian wedding ideas and inspiration.
This Italian wedding photoshoot had everything you’d love to see from a romantic wedding in Italy. A magnificent Italian castle wedding venue steeped in history, a beautiful couple in love, stunning and plenty of Italian wedding ideas and inspiration for newly engaged brides that you’d usually only find when searching the pages of Pinterest or Instagram.
The bride wore a flowing wedding dress in contemporary blue and carried a bouquet of wild forest flowers and ferns all loosely tied up with a blue satin ribbon. Our groom was dressed in a sharp navy blue suit with a subtle floral buttonhole inspired by the bridal bouquet.
After getting ready at the castle, the Italian bride and groom took a romantic stroll down through the forest to the nearby village of Pielungo for some beautiful wedding couple portraits outside the stunning Chiesa Pielungo in the heart of the village. After the wedding portraits were captured by me, we returned to Castello Ceconi for the Italian styled wedding reception and relaxed family portraits within the castle walls.
If you’re thinking of getting married abroad or would love a destination wedding, I can highly recommend Italy. It’s such a beautiful and romantic country and has lots of wonderful places to get married if you’re looking to book somewhere unique for your wedding day.
